NO GA is relaunching the iconic Orchestra Chair, designed in 1931, in close collaboration with Sven Markelius' family. Sven Markelius (1889–1972) was one of the most influential architects of the 20th century and played a significant role in introducing functionalism to Sweden. He was also a skilled designer and often designed the interiors for his buildings.

 

Markelius designed the Orchestra Chair, Sweden's first stackable chair, for the world-famous concert hall in Helsingborg in 1931.
